This JAN-PRO Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how we collect information when you visit or use www.jan-pro.com, mobile applications and other online services (collectively, the “Online Services”) that link to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy describes the policies and practices applicable to the Online Services as well as any personal information collected by us offline. The Online Services may contain links to the websites of third parties. JAN-PRO is not responsible for the contents of those third-party websites nor the privacy policies or practices of those third-party websites. Our Online Services are intended for a United States and Canadian audience.  If you are located outside the United States or Canada, please do not use the Online Services, as the Online Services’ personal information practices and the terms of this Privacy Policy may or may not comply with foreign law.

Categories of Information We Disclose and Parties to Whom We Disclose

JAN-PRO does not disclose any personal information about JAN-PRO’s potential customers or current customers to third parties, except as permitted by law or as described below:

Service Providers
JAN-PRO may disclose the personal information to service providers JAN-PRO engages, including those providing back-office services such as account processing, analysis, IT and other consulting services, as well as JAN-PRO’s service providers engaged to service your facility. Before JAN-PRO discloses personal information to a service provider, JAN-PRO enters into a contractual agreement with the third party that prohibits that party from disclosing or using the information other than to carry out the services for which JAN-PRO disclosed the information or as otherwise permitted by law, and require that party to protect personal information and to comply with the general privacy principles described in this Privacy Policy. In some cases, JAN-PRO may engage a service provider outside of your jurisdiction of residence. Franchisees
JAN-PRO have entered into Regional Master Franchise Agreements with JAN-PRO’S regional development franchisees. If you are submitting your information on or through JAN-PRO’s Online Services relating to cleaning services or for unit franchises, JAN-PRO will disclose your information to JAN-PRO’s regional development franchisee closest to your area for purposes of carrying out marketing activities and providing you with the information you requested. You can choose at any time not to allow JAN-PRO to share your personal information with JAN-PRO’s regional development franchisees by contacting JAN-PRO using the address, phone or email provided below under “Contact Us”.

Affiliates
JAN-PRO may share your information with JAN-PRO’s affiliated entities (entities JAN-PRO owns, that own JAN- PRO or that are under common ownership with JAN-PRO) for purposes described in this Privacy Policy. For example, if you submit a request for services and JAN-PRO does not have locations in your region, JAN-PRO may share your request with JAN-PRO’s affiliate so that they can provide you with a response.

Other Third Parties for Marketing Purposes
JAN-PRO does not currently sell or license your personal information to any third party unrelated to JAN-PRO. JAN-PRO may from time to time provide your information to third parties (or JAN-PRO affiliates or subsidiaries) whose products and services JAN-PRO believes may be of interest to you so that promotional materials may be sent directly to directly. Corporate Transactions

Server-Side Tracking Policy

Introduction to Server-Side Tracking

After processing, the server-side container generates tags and dispatches them as requests to our trusted analytics and marketing platforms, such as Google Ads or Facebook. This controlled dispatching ensures only necessary information is shared with these platforms, enhancing data security and compliance with privacy laws. Through server-side tracking, we aim to maintain a high standard of privacy for our users while effectively measuring and improving our services.

Third-Party Integrations and Data Sharing

JAN-PRO Marketing Communications With You

Consent to Receive Text Messages

You are not required to consent to receiving text messages from JAN-PRO. By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages from JAN-PRO regarding your inquiry, our services, or related legal matters. Message Frequency will vary from 1-10 messages in a week, pending your inquiry and service needs. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message you receive from us. You may reply with “HELP” to receive assistance from the JAN-PRO team.  Please note that opting out may limit our ability to communicate with you regarding your case or services.

Children’s Privacy

JAN-PRO’s Online Services is not intended for use by children under 16. JAN-PRO asks that children under the age of 13 do not use the Online Services and do not submit any personal information to JAN-PRO.

  1. By providing your phone number for SMS services, you will receive updates regarding your service for JAN-PRO including but not limited to, appointment confirmations, proposals, invoices and general communications.
  2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to the shortcode. Upon sending “STOP,” we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS. Following this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.
